Time

The time period that the photograph encapsulates.

Exposure time is the period for which the aperture (the eye) of the camera is open during the taking of a picture. Finding the perfect exposure time according to the light conditions is crucial. Photographers often play with exposure time for artistic effect – if they leave the aperture open for long enough, moving forms become blurred.
